Net Curtains Theatre Company is a producing company of associate artists dedicated to the development of new theatre talent. We commission, develop and produce new writing designed to lift the lid and poke into the corners of contemporary British issues.

Based in Soho, where we've been for the last seven years, we concentrate on our in-house commissions and new writing projects. Through workshops and collaborations, we also forge networks and maintain links with other like-minded artists and theatre companies.
Net Curtains was founded by artistic director, Claire Farrington in 2001. Originally it was set up to provide actors with a weekly workshop whilst working on new scripts. We wanted to create our own opportunities to work with emerging directors and writers. These workshops quickly grew to working with some of the most influential names in British theatre, including Terry Johnson, Roxanna Silbert and Michael Grandage. They were invited to share their wisdom, inspiring and helping the company enormously.
We now share our time between developing and producing our commissioned plays and organising networking workshops with directors and writer we'd like to work with us.
